Itinerary & Dates
Day 1: Dushanbe – Hisor - Dushanbe
Hisor fortress and madrasa
Lunch at one of the best national restaurant
Kokhi Navruz Palace
In the morning after the breakfast, we will depart to Hisor town 30 km from Dushanbe, where a 16th century fortress, madrasa (religious school) and shrine are located. In Hisor we will have a full excursion of the sights and introduction to the history of Tajik people. After the excursion, we will drive back to Dushanbe and have lunch at a national restaurant. Later after the lunch, we will start exploring Dushanbe city by visiting Kokhi Navruz Palace where you will have a chance to see an awesome Palace with the history of Tajik art of woodcarvings, pottery, paintings and precious stones. Later we will visit National Museum and Flagpole (the second highest in the World). We will also have a walk in Rudaki Park seeing Ismoili Somoni Monument. After we will drive to Botanical garden and have a nice walk there with the exhibition of traditional Tajik houses, also if this day will be a weekend we will have chance to see wedding ceremonies in Botanical garden. After the excursion in Botanical garden, we will drive back to the hotel.

Day 2/3: Dushanbe - Ski Tourism Complex Safed Dara
Today we will start having more adventure and fun. Having a short drive from Dushanbe, the ski resort at Takob at heights from 2,100 meters (6,890 feet) up to 3,000 meters (9,842 feet) above sea level is a favourite winter retreat for city dwellers where we will go. Two ski lifts covering over 200m long traverse the mountains above the Varzob Valley. A hotel and spa is open at the bottom of the slopes in the winter months. The complex is reached via a turnoff 36km north of Dushanbe, just before the President’s dacha.
The place offers almost all the winter adventure and fun activities such as:
Skiing, snowboarding, rink, snoutyubing,
Snowmobiles, zip lines, rope park, climbing walls, buggies off-road drivings, paintball, horse rides, a nice restaurant, hotel and of course BBQ.
We stay here for two days experiencing Mountain adventures and fun.
Day 4:Dushanbe Iskanderkul Lake- Dushanbe

Today we will have a full day tour to Iskanderkul Lake known as Alexander the Great Lake that is one of the signature sights of Tajikistan. It is impossible to imagine a trip to Tajikistan without paying a visit to Iskanderkul Lake. It is as if being in Paris but not seeing Eiffel Tower. We will drive 140 km in 3,5 hours, through beautiful mountain scenery to the north of the country. Upon arrival, we will have lunch and later walk to the shore of the lake to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking views. Later we will have 40 minutes hiking tour to the grand Fann Niagara waterfall, which drops water from 36 meters and “Snake Lake”. After, we will drive back to Dushanbe.
